Isaac Boehmer moved up to the Whitecaps FC first-team roster in August 2020, climbing up the club's ranks starting from their Okanagan Academy Center.

Name: Lelia Yan 

Birth Year: 2020

What her coaches say:  She is very keen and willing in to learn. Lelia is coming to train with a willingness to improve. Well done, Lelia! 

Halifax BMO Academy Centre

Name: Dominic Nguyen 

Birth Year: 2013

What his coaches say: Dominic has an outstanding work ethic, which has led to significant growth in his skills over the past few months. He is always focused and puts tremendous effort into every aspect of his game. His positive attitude and determination make him a player that coaches enjoy working with, and this mindset will continue to help him improve and reach new levels. Keep up the great work, Dominic! 

Saskatchewan BMO Academy Centre

Name: Taliah Evans 

Birth Year: 2008

What her coaches say: Taliah has been in the program for 5 years and has always set the standard as a leader both on and off the pitch. Taliah is a fierce holding midfielder who protects her back line and often starts the attack and is often in position to score! Taliah has signed with the University of Manitoba for the fall of 2026 and will no doubt make the program proud.

Name: Angela Liu 

Birth Year: 2016

What her coaches say: Angela Liu has been named Girls Prospects Centre Player of the Month for June in recognition of the outstanding attitude, commitment, and quality she has consistently demonstrated throughout the programme.Angela has been a fantastic role model within the group, approaching every session with enthusiasm, focus, and a strong desire to improve. She consistently performs at a high level in training, showing excellent technical ability and the confidence to apply her skills in challenging situations. Her positive attitude and willingness to learn have helped her make significant progress throughout the month.In addition to her performances on the pitch, Angela's work ethic and dedication to her development have stood out. She embraces feedback, challenges herself to improve, and sets a great example for her teammates through her effort and commitment in every session.We are delighted to recognise Angela's achievements with this award and look forward to seeing her continue to grow and thrive as a player in the months ahead. What his coaches say: Axton Ramdani has been named Boys Prospects Player of the Month for June in recognition of his exceptional performances, outstanding technical quality, and consistently high standards throughout the programme.Axton has continued to impress with his ability to compete and excel while playing two years above his age group. He demonstrates remarkable confidence on the ball, excellent decision-making, and a relentless desire to impact the game in every moment. His technical ability, creativity, and competitive mindset have made him one of the standout players in the programme throughout the month.His performances were particularly evident at our recent 3v3 Street Style Tournament, where he was widely regarded as one of the standout players across the event. Axton consistently showcased his ability to solve problems, beat opponents in 1v1 situations, and influence games through both his skill and determination.Axton's commitment to his development and his willingness to embrace challenges beyond his age group continue to set him apart. He is developing into a player with an extremely bright future within the Whitecaps pathway, and we are excited to see what he can achieve in the months and years ahead.Congratulations, Axton, on a thoroughly deserved recognition.

What his coaches say: Grayson Bugno has been named Boys Development Centre Player of the Month for June in recognition of his outstanding commitment, positive attitude, and consistent performances throughout the month.Grayson has been a fantastic example of what it means to be a Development Centre player. He approaches every session with enthusiasm, works hard to improve, and consistently demonstrates a willingness to learn. His technical quality and determination to compete have been evident in both training and matches, while his positive attitude has had a strong influence on those around him.Throughout June, Grayson has shown excellent consistency in his performances, applying the skills and habits developed in training with confidence and purpose. His commitment to his development and his desire to challenge himself have helped him stand out within the group.We are delighted to recognise Grayson’s efforts with this award and look forward to seeing him continue his development and build on the excellent progress he has made so far this season. What his coaches say: Ronan always comes into the academy sessions with a great attitude and with great intensity. Even towards the end of the session where some players tire he is still pushing himself to the limits. Great job and continue the great work!
