Isaac Boehmer moved up to the Whitecaps FC first-team roster in August 2020, climbing up the club's ranks starting from their Okanagan Academy Center.

Calgary BMO Academy Centre

Name: Charlotte Campbell 

Birth Year: 2016

What her coaches say: Charlotte is a player that always gives 100% in every session at our academy. This is highlighted by her recent growth when pressing the ball. Charlotte is a player that shows fantastic aggression and determination to win the ball back. Her ability to regenerate her press from moment to moment make her a very impactful player. We look forward to see her development continue.


Name: Yusuf Kammouni 

Birth Year: 2012

What his coaches say: Congratulations to Yusuf, who has ben nominated for our Player of the Month award. Yusuf is a player that showcases the character we sought after in our programs. This is highlighted by his determination to give his all in all aspects of the game, In possession, transition moments and defending the ball. Yusuf also has shown steady improvement in his deception, resulting in his ability to have more time and space on the ball. We are very happy with his effort and desire to always look to improve his game. His competitiveness gives our sessions the edge we are hoping. Well done.

Name: Castielle Petero 

Birth Year: 2013

What his coaches say:  Cas plays the game with passion and discipline, and humility. He is a great training mate to his fellow players as well.

Name: Chase Smith

Birth Year: 2013

What his coaches say: Chase has been excellent since joining the Halifax Prospects Academy. He sets an example with his consistent work ethic and application in training, and his positive attitude has made him a valued presence within the group. He continues to improve his technique and shows a strong commitment to ongoing development. 

Kootenays BMO Academy Centre

Name: Thalia Koshure

Birth Year: 2013

What her coaches say: Thalia is a highly committed and focused player who consistently applies maximum effort in every session. She sets the standard in training through her work rate, concentration, and professionalism, and consistently demonstrates the behaviours we expect of a Whitecaps player. Expectations for her continued development are high, and her long-term potential is strong. 


Name: Lucas Gourlie 

Birth Year: 2011

What his coaches say: Lucas has improved rapidly and is quickly emerging as a leader within the group, particularly for his age. His technical quality reflects consistent work beyond scheduled training, and we encourage him to continue in this positive development path. 

Lethbridge BMO Academy Centre

Name: Avery Middleton-Hope 

Birth Year: 2014

What her coaches say: Avery has had a wonderful 2026 so far. Her mindset is to improve in everytime she steps foot on a pitch, and its certainly something she is doing in the Academy sessions. Regardless of what group she is in, whether the only female in one session, playing against older or younger players, Avery ALWAYS give 100000%. She is fantastic to coach and listens to every piece of advise she is given and takes it into her game. Well done AMH 🙂

What his coaches say: Jackson has been great to coach throughout this time in the Whitecaps Academy. He works hard every session and always has a smile on his face. His technical game has improved a huge amount lately, and thats totally down to his effort and attitude to training. Congrats Jackson

Name: Alicia Lopez Cepeda

Birth Year: 2016

What her coaches say: Alicia demonstrates an eagerness to learn and a positive approach to her development. She interacts well with teammates, contributes positively to the group dynamic, and is a pleasure to have on the team! 


Name: Benjamin Shanks 

Birth Year: 2016

What his coaches say: Benjamin is an outstanding young player whose energy, positivity, and enthusiasm are truly contagious. He brings a great attitude to every session and consistently demonstrates a top-class work rate and commitment. His attendance has been excellent, and since the holiday break, he has clearly been putting in extra work at home. This dedication is showing in his rapid improvement and growing confidence on the field. Benjamin is a great teammate, a joy to coach, and a very deserving Player of the Month. 

Manitoba BMO Academy Centre

Name: Carson Salmon

Birth Year: 2010

What his coaches say: Carson earned Player of the Month recognition through a strong run of performances marked by growing confidence, physical presence, and attacking impact in wide areas. He consistently uses his pace, size, and balance to challenge defenders, showing improved decision-making in when to attack space directly and when to combine, with better technical execution at speed. His increased composure, focus, and trust in his decisions have led to more consistent performances, reflecting a player trending strongly in the right direction. 

Saskatchewan BMO Academy Centre

Name: Elly Mitchell

Birth Year: 2008

What her coaches say: Elly is a senior in the program. She has the highest work rate and is determined to outplay every player both in training and in competition. Elly never quits and terrorizes the wing in an amazing way. She often scores goals from unreal angles and areas with a cannon of a shot. She is a role model for the whole group with her energy and enthusiasm.

Vancouver BMO Academy

Name: Marigold Guimain 

Birth Year: 2017

What her coaches say: Marigold has been named Girls Prospects Centre Player of the Month following her excellent progress and consistently positive approach. She turns up every week with a smile on her face and a real enthusiasm to learn, which makes her an absolute joy to coach.Marigold’s commitment, attitude, and willingness to improve have been clear to see in every session. Her development and performances have not gone unnoticed, and she is a very deserving recipient of this award. 


Name: Lloyd Dick

Birth Year: 2015

What his coaches say: Lloyd has been named Vancouver Prospects Centre Player of the Month for February following a series of consistently strong performances. He has shown amazing progress at the Boys Prospects Centre and is now performing as one of the top players in his group.Lloyd trains with excellent determination, intensity, and focus, setting high standards for himself every session. His consistency and commitment to improving his game have been key in earning his place within the top group. His attitude, work rate, and performances have not gone unnoticed, and he is a very deserving recipient of this award.

What his coaches say: Marcus Reut has been named Boys Development Centre Player of the Month following his outstanding commitment and consistency. He has been an ever-present at sessions and trains with real intensity and a clear desire to improve every time he steps on the field.Marcus sets high standards for himself through his work rate, focus, and attitude to learning. His dedication and continued development have not gone unnoticed, and he is a very deserving recipient of this award.

Name: Canaan Soto

Birth Year: 2011

What his coaches say: Canaan has had a great start to the year! It's great to see a player with such confidence with the ball at their feet. He hasn't been afraid to beat creative which has unlocked different decision making ideas for Canaan that, as a defender, are difficult to read. Great job!
