The Whitecaps FC Prospects Academy is a supplemental weekly training program for ambitious players aiming to progress through the Whitecaps FC professional pathway into the MLS Academy, Rise FC Academy and beyond. Designed to complement club team training, it offers a high-performance environment focused on teaching the Whitecaps FC Way—a holistic approach to developing high-performance training habits, advanced technical habits, tactical understanding, and personal growth. Players benefit from expert coaching, educational workshops, and opportunities for Academy talent identification through events like the Prospects Festivals.
Develop advanced technical habits, learn to apply tactical principles in game situations and learn how to apply the club’s cornerstones in all facets of life.
Our experts and current academy players share their experiences, insights and best practices about the journey to professional soccer through a workshop series.
Ongoing player evaluation for potential future MLS Academy and Rise FC Academy opportunities.
A day of dynamic small sided games, giving players the opportunity to showcase and apply what they’ve developed throughout the season in a fun, competitive environment. Held each Fall and Spring.
