Isaac Boehmer moved up to the Whitecaps FC first-team roster in August 2020, climbing up the club's ranks starting from their Okanagan Academy Center.

Name: Gareth Griffin 

Birth Year: 2014

What his coaches say: Gareth is a pleasure to coach. This is highlighted by his focus, intrigue and attention to the session topic. This is allowing Gareth to clearly visualize the specific skills and how they can be utilized as a player in the game. This level of attention in sessions, is an attribute as a player that we admire and hope it continues. Well done 


Name: Liam Griffin 

Birth Year: 2014

What his coaches say: Liam, has been an outstanding participant for many months now in our academy. This is demonstrated by his determination to add new tools to his tool box. We especially admire his focus and attention when applying new habits to his game. Liam is a regular contributor to session intensity and often drives the enthusiasm of his teammates, thus creating a perfect environement for learning and improving. Keep up the good work.

What her coaches say: Liv is a pleasure to coach in the Halifax Prospects program. She always works hard in training and combines a great attitude and work ethic to improve her technical skills in every session. Name: Olivia Gibson 

Birth Year: 2015

What her coaches say: Olivia is a warrior: fearless in her actions. She consistently brings a tremendous attitude to training and is a leader in our group. Showing impressive growth in her ball mastery and tactical awareness, Olivia has a bright future in the game. 


Name: Ronan Nahirniak 

Birth Year: 2014

What his coaches say: Ronan is a coach’s dream: hardworking, committed and focused in every training session. He has raised both his own level and the group’s, and his strong bipedal ability consistently challenges opposition defenders. Positive and easy to work with, his development trajectory suggests strong potential to progress far in the game if he chooses.

Name: Valerie Cabezas 

Birth Year: 2012

What her coaches say: Val has come such a long way in such a short time. Her development is all down to her countless hours of work on both her technical ability but also her goalkeeping.

What his coaches say: Chris has made significant progress in his development, and it truly shines through in every session. He brings consistent effort, is always asking questions, and shows a genuine desire to improve each time he steps onto the pitch. He plays with a smile on his face, demonstrating both confidence and enjoyment in his game. We congratulate Chris on his hard work and continued growth. 

London BMO Academy

Name: Elizabeth Regier 

Birth Year: 2009

What her coaches say: It's been a pleasure coaching Elizabeth. She's committed, works hard and is an intelligent player that brings a quiet positivity to the group. Elizabeth leads by example with her intensity in match play and solid defending. Elizabeth has been selected for Ontario Provincial Screening. Congratulations Elizabeth! 


Name: Sawyer Kennedy 

Birth Year: 2009

What his coaches say: Sawyer has had a positive month of development. Continuing to be a leader both on and off the field with his performance, work ethic, and overall attitude. Sawyer is a goalkeeper that has many great qualities and strives to improve his game everytime he is on the field. Along with being selected for Ontario Provincial Screening he also contributes in a positive manner in the community helping as a coach for younger goalkeepers and sharing his skills & passion for the position.  Congratulations Sawyer! 

Manitoba BMO Academy Centre

Name: Neev Muller 

Birth Year: 2010

What her coaches say: Neev has demonstrated an excellent level of performance and consistency over the past month, particularly in her role as a central forward. She plays well with her back to goal and her ability to link play with wide players has been a standout feature. She finishes well from a variety of situations and consistently reacts quickly to second-ball opportunities. Overall, her impact on the attacking phase has been significant, and her continued development in this role has been very encouraging. 

Saskatchewan BMO Academy Centre

Name: Duc Pham 

Birth Year: 2010

What his coaches say: Duc had the opportunity to travel to the Whitecaps FC Academy Centre Evaluation Camp in November, and since then, he has continued to demonstrate strong development and consistency in his performances. He is a player with an advanced tactical understanding, often thinking one to two moments ahead of others on the pitch in both attacking and defending phases. Beyond his tactical awareness, Duc consistently shows a strong work ethic, a growth mindset, and natural leadership qualities. His standards on and off the pitch positively influence both his own performance and the environment around him. 

Vancouver BMO Academy

Name: Anna Castillo Bralski 

Birth Year: 2018

What her coaches say: Anna has been named Girls Player of the Month after consistently performing at a very high level in recent sessions. Her strong performances, intensity, and understanding of the game have stood out, leading to her recent move up to an older age group. This progression is a reflection of her quality, commitment, and ability to challenge herself in a more demanding environment. Anna’s continued development and impact within the programme make her a very deserving recipient of this award.


Name: Andrew Liu 

Birth Year: 2017

What his coaches say: Andrew has been named Vancouver Development Centre Player of the Month after a series of strong and improving performances. He has settled into the centre extremely well and consistently brings a positive energy to every session, always playing with a smile. Andrew has shown great improvement over his time in the programme, with his attitude, enjoyment, and commitment to learning clearly reflected in his development. This award is well deserved and recognizes the progress he continues to make within the centre. 


Name: Lucas To 

Birth Year: 2017

What his coaches say: Lucas has been named Vancouver Prospects Centre Player of the Month after a series of consistently strong performances in recent sessions. He trains with excellent intensity and focus, setting high standards for himself every time he steps on the field. He leads by example through his work rate, commitment, and attitude to learning. His ability to perform at a high level week after week has not gone unnoticed, and he is a very deserving recipient of this award.
